Thompson’s Station

Located between Franklin and Spring Hill, near the intersection of Interstates 840 and 65, Thompson’s Station is a formerly rural area with rolling hills that has seen a recent population explosion. Though it more than doubled in size between 2010 and 2020, Thompson’s Station is still relatively small and has maintained its family-friendly feel. Thompson’s Station offers highly rated Williamson County schools, safe neighborhoods, and newly constructed single-family homes. Commercially, Thompson’s Station is continuing to grow, and its residents now have the option of eating and shopping in Thompson’s Station or making the short trip north to the Cool Springs retail center. Thompson’s Station is a popular choice among relocating families who are seeking a nice home and Williamson County schools at a lower price point than offered in Franklin and Brentwood.

BEST KNOWN FOR

Its rural feel. Thompson’s Station continues to offer a degree of unspoiled scenery and a rural feel that has become harder to find as middle Tennessee has grown.

THE THINGS WE LOVE

2. The community feel. Thompson’s Station offers many new neighborhoods and the sense of community that growing areas often seem to lose.
